DigitalMikey Studios provide demo and full length album mixing and production services. Our mixing engineers are musicians themselves and understand what you need. Using an almost entirely “in the box” approach, we utilize the latest tools and software to get your project sounding professional and comparable to other commercial releases. Our studio is also capable of providing custom beats, jingles, and production scores for companies, hip hop artists, and film makers alike. Our objective is to get your mix sounding great on every system that you put it into.

With the nature of mixing these days, we also provide reamping services. Reamping is basically taking a DI recorded guitar or bass track and sending it out of the DAW and back to an amp, where that sound is recorded in a treated environment with quality microphones and pre-amps. If you are unable to record guitars, simply use a modeling plug-in like Amplitube and record direct. Once your performance is how you like it, remove the modeling plug-in and there you have a DI guitar track. Once you send us your project, we’ll do the rest.

Our mixing room is a treated room that has broadband absorption and high and low frequency absorption. This is necessary when mixing so that you can get an accurate representation of what you’re really hearing. Without it, the mix does not realize its full potential. You end up introducing inconsistent mixes that just don’t make sense.
